Ford Transit Custom in Forfar Angus

The Ford Transit Custom nails every job with 6.0m3 to 8.3m3 of space, a full-height DIN/ISO compliant bulkhead, the ability to carry 3 Euro pallets and a load length up to 3.4m. You can spec rear doors that open at 90° or fully to 180° for unrestricted access, and the side door is wide enough for a Euro pallet. Power comes from a Euro 6.2 compliant 2.0 TDCi EcoBlue engine range, including a Mild Hybrid version with 130PS, 170PS or 185PS. There’s also a 1.0 Plug-in Hybrid with a fuel-saving 27 mile electric range.

Trims include Leader, Trend, Limited, Trail, Active and Sport. Trail models have rugged styling with 16” alloys and FORD lettering on the front grille. Active models are more rugged still, with 17” alloy wheels and black detailing. Sport models have a sports styling kit. All versions from Trend have an 8” SYNC 3 touchscreen system and cruise control. Limited adds air con, heated front seats and a dual passenger seat with fold-out table.

Design

The Transit Custom fits in everywhere with rugged versions (Trail, Active), sporty versions (Sport) and standard versions (Limited) available. Sport models are special, with 18” alloys, a rear-view camera and an upgraded high series instrument cluster.

Drive

Engines include 2.0 TDCi EcoBlue units with 130PS or 180PS, and a 2.0 TDCi EcoBlue Hybrid with 130PS, 170PS or 185PS. The 1.0 PHEV has an EcoBoost engine with a 13.6kWh battery pack, delivering an electric range up to 27 miles.

Practicality

Available in 2 body lengths and 2 roof heights, the Transit Custom offers lots of space. L1 H1 models have a 6m3 load volume, while L1 H2 models have a 7.2m3 load volume. L2 H1 models have a 6.8m3 load volume and L2 H2 models have an 8.3m3 load volume.

Living with it

You can specify a rear-view camera and Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Keeping Aid and Pre-Collision Assist to semi-automate your journeys. From Trend, all vans have front and rear parking sensors and cruise control.
