"Hi, I’m Kiera, and I’m proud to be in my first year as an apprentice at Glenford. Growing up around cars and engines, thanks to my dad’s garage business, I’ve always been fascinated by the world of mechanics.

After leaving Webster’s High School in Kirriemuir in 2024, I knew I wanted to kick-start my career with a hands-on apprenticeship. I dropped off my CV to John, the Service Manager at Glenford, and before I knew it, I was part of the team!

What makes my journey even more exciting? I’m the only female apprentice in the programme, a challenge I embrace with enthusiasm. It’s been an incredible experience so far, and I’m thrilled to be laying the foundation for a future in the automotive industry.

Cars need to meet minimum emission standards when travelling in the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) or the daily charge must be paid.
