The new Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-in Hybrid combines a petrol engine that powers the front wheels of the vehicle, with an electric motor that powers the rear. The 6 speed automatic gearbox delivers a smooth and automatic transition between the combustion engine and electric motor, with instant acceleration and response. Although Jeep are looking towards a sustainable future with their new range of hybrid vehicles, the traditional and universally loved soul of Jeep remains.

Exterior

The Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-In Hybrid features Jeep's signature 7 vents on the front grille which is flanked by LED round headlights either side. With this, there is no mistaking that this compact crossover is an adventure seeking Jeep. Available in three different trim levels: Upland, S and Trailhawk, the Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-in Hybrid comes in a variety of looks. The Upland comes with gloss black 17" alloy wheels as standard, bronze details around the car and a contrasting black roof which looks both sleek and modern. The 'S' model offers a bolder look with 19" Granite Crystal wheels, power folding and adjustable mirrors and automatic headlight activation. Finally, the Trailhawk is for all of you adventure seekers out there and comes with Jeep's Selec-Terrain 4-wheel drive system with Rock Mode as well as tinted privacy glass and a rear parking camera.

Interior

The interior of the Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-In Hybrid has been designed to give maximum space and comfort for every journey. With an ergonomic steering wheel, comfortable and supportive seats and spacious storage compartments help to create a space that is both attractive and functional.

Technology

The new Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-In Hybrid features over 60 active and passive safety systems, designed to intelligently fine-tune your driving experience. These include Forward Collision Warning Plus, which detects via radar and video sensors whether the vehicle is approaching another car or obstacle too rapidly, and warns the driver accordingly. Automatic Park Assist makes parking easy and hassle-free via the PARKSENSE system, which not only locates a parking space, but guides the driver with audio and visual instructions that appear on the TFT instrument cluster; meanwhile, Drowsy Driver Detection – a feature exclusively available to the Renegade Plug-in Hybrid – detects the level of driver fatigue, and sends a dedicated text to the driver suggesting when a rest might be needed. Other safety features available include Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection, Rear Camera with dynamic grid, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

The 7” TFT Instrument Cluster enables you to monitor all the driving parameters of your vehicle, including charge level, battery health and power available, with a customisable interface to give you the information you want.

Meanwhile the 8.4” Uconnect Infotainment system and suite of Uconnect Services are designed to make your Jeep® 4xe Plug-In Hybrid experience even more advanced and intuitive.
